Watching this video of Garbage is kind of like making Jumbalaya with all the wrong ingredients. This is a perfectly good rock song ruined by a terminally ill video. Its got great elements but its mixed together somewhat unevenly.
Its a 1995 song, and for its theme it serves as somewhat of a bright spot.
The 90's were a pretty miserable decade all around. This is a notch up from Hole thematically. But what saves it is the great musical sensibility. The sound is uniquely their own. Unfortunately for the rest of the bands from this period they failed to take note of what makes the Garbage sound -- enjoyable?
Garbage... II... aptly named Garbage 2.0. was actually a pretty decent effort as well.
